This Privacy Policy explains what information developer0101 (“we”, “us”) collects when you use https://developer0101.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

  • Contact form. When you submit the “Work With Me” form we receive the name, email address, optional company, project type, optional budget, and message you provide.
  • Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address until you unsubscribe.
  • Ratings. When you rate an AI tool we store the star value and a one-way salted hash of your IP address — never the IP itself — so one visitor can’t rate the same tool repeatedly.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic (pages viewed, approximate region, device type). This uses cookies. We do not sell this data or use it to identify you.
  • Abuse prevention. Form submissions are rate-limited using the same salted IP hash described above, kept only as long as needed for that purpose.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiries, send the newsletter you asked for, show community ratings, keep the site secure, and improve what we publish. We do not use your information for advertising.

Cookies

We use cookies set by Google Analytics for the analytics described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Third parties

We share data only with providers that help us run the site: Google (Analytics) and our email provider (for contact-form notifications and the newsletter). We don’t sell personal information to anyone.

Retention

Contact messages and newsletter subscriptions are kept until they are no longer needed or you ask us to delete them. Hashed-IP records used for rate limiting and rating de-duplication are short-lived.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to unsubscribe from the newsletter, by emailing contact@developer0101.com.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
